What fonts does Freeway Pro use for the application itself?
I was messing around with my font management program (FontExplorer X Pro) and I must have accidentally turned off one of them, because some of the Freeway Pro dialog boxes are now using a small scripted font.
It sounds like (as you originally said) that you’ve managed to disable the font Freeway wants to use to show the text in this dialog. What I think Thomas was referring to is that some of these dialogs accept rich text which can look a bit odd if you are pasting in markup you’ve found online (or from another source) and all of the styles come in with it. Although Freeway displays the styled markup only the plain text ever makes it into the document so, as Thomas mentions, if you open the dialog again the text will have correctly reformatted itself.
I think the font these dialogs use is Geneva. Check that you have that enabled in FontExplorer X Pro and restart Freeway. better still use this Apple KB article to re-enable all of the ‘essential’ fonts listed; http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1642?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Tim.

Thomas, I tried that and it’s not working, but the bigger question is if it’s happened to you too why is this happening in the first place? Tim?
Tim, I have FontExplorer X Pro set to protect my system fonts and Geneva is active so it must be something else. Please note that not all dialog boxes are affected, which is a little odd. The ones that I’ve found that are affected are:
If you are still seeing styled text after closing the dialogs and then reopening them then I think this is going to be a question for our support team;
You may have to reinstall the application but check with them first.

I can’t seem to resolve this problem so I’m going to attempt a reinstallation of Freeway Pro. Is there anything I should do prior to attempting the reinstall? What about my existing actions? Will they be safe?
I tried reinstalling Freeway Pro and that didn’t work, so I tried to identify the font Freeway was mistakenly using for the dialog boxes.
Turns out it the font was called Curlz MT, which according to FontExplorer is a system font. I disabled that and restarted my Mac and everything is fine. Whew. What a paint in the butt.
