[Pro] Why won't my photo show in the layer?

I don’t understand why a little photo I have inserted within a layer won’t show up. Using precisely the same method I used in this particular case, photos within layers are showing up fine elsewhere. I’ve made myself nuts trying to figure this out. Now I need someone with expertise.

The link to see is http://www.whitehallboca.com

On that page you’ll see a pink tease box on the left. In the second item, you’ll notice a gap. That’s where the picture has been placed and refuses to show. It’s a small JPG of a blue ribbon. I’ve tried the image in any number of formats, but that makes no difference whatsoever.

Thanks in advance.

There is certainly no mention of it in your code.

I see that is all gif text - have you tried it with HTML text and insert an inline HTML item with your picture within it.

David, beyond just inserting a graphic, I also tried inserting an HTML item and then putting the graphic within that. None of that worked. I tried other images in the box. Nothing. It’s just so confounding. The image in the main text box (also a layer) to the right was done in precisely the same fashion, and yet it shows without any issues.)

I’m going to peek into the resources folder just to see if there’s anything “stuck” there that shouldn’t be. I’m also going to try to simply rename that pink box in case in got confused with something else I’d once upon a time had on the site.

Wait! All better. I read too quickly through your e-mail and upon a second reading saw mention of gif text. Wow! I have NO idea how I’d done that, but having now corrected it to HTML text, all is well.

I can’t believe I didn’t notice that and then spent a couple of hours trying to fix things.

One learning curve right after the other . .

Thanks, David.
