[Pro] WOW Slider and Backdraft link broken

Hi,

I’m building a site using the excellent Backdraft template and integrating a WOW slider. All is well by following Caleb’s useful evernote instructions, but the only part I can’t get working is adding image links on each slide. Basically the site uses a couple of different slides which when clicked will take the user to another page.

I’ve added the URL in WOW to each slide, published and added the output code to the relevant places in FW, but when uploaded (or tested offline) the slides are no longer clickable (so the link no longer works).

The WOW slider publish works fine on its own (not integrated into FW) but when put into the brackdraft template the links no longer work.

Any ideas please?

Sorry, does anyone have any ideas on this?

Can you put the wow slider on an otherwise blank page and post online somewhere.

Just one other thing

The Body code says generated by WS 5.0 but both scripts say 4.9 - can you check you have matching outputs included. (May just be a naming error).

Hi Dave,

Thanks for helping out. I’m away from my desk at the moment but will post a blank page with the slider on asap later today.

I’ve recently upgraded to wow v5 but thought I’d republished the output since then, I’ll double check though.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Solved. My silly mistake, I won’t bore you with a lengthy explanation but I was using Textwrangler incorrectly to copy the relevant code, I was copying code from a previous WOW output that Textwrangler displays by default when opened and not the new output. Anyway, solved!

I have an issue with Google fonts not displaying as expected now, but I’ll start a new thread for that.

Caleb - if you’re reading this, ignore the message I sent via your Backdraft site, all sorted!

Thanks for your offer of help though Dave, always appreciated.
