[Pro] Yahoo blocking iframes?

Hi there

Occasionally I have placed a YahooGroup’s page in an iframe on a website. This was to make it easier to access the group rather than having to follow various links.

However I have now found that Yahoo pages will no longer appear in an iframe in most of the up-to-date browsers. I have experimented with various addresses and it only seems to be the Yahoo addresses that don’t work.

I have put together a quick example at Welcome to GordonLow.net | Audio, Design and Internet projects

Is there any way to “unblock” the Yahoo pages to make them appear in an iframe again?

Thanks

Gordon

If they are sending the header from their server (something named similarly to allow-frames:false, don’t have it in front of me at the moment) then no, you can’t do anything about this. Github does this with their Gist service, so unless you use their JavaScript API to embed the Gists, you can’t use their content.
