hi folks,
i’ve tried to make a gallery using the new transition fx action in freeway 5. works fine but …
if i want to go back from picture 5 to picture 3 the layer “bild3” does not appear again. it only works when i click the next layer above (from “bild1” to “bild2” to “bild3” and so on, but if i want to see the pictures like “bild1” to “bild 4” to “bild3” to “bild8” to “bild5” etc. it doesn’t work that the shown layer dissapear and the selected (clicked) picture (layer under the choosen before) appear. what can i do.

I wonder if this is perhaps better done using the Target Show/Hide
Layer Action. What you are trying to do can be achieved with this
system devised by Joe Billings. I have copied his message to me
below. Bear in mind that there was a bug in the rollover Action that
afflicted one of my pages when running in Firefox but that was solved
by Stewart Fellows and is part of the 5.0.1 update.
Cheers
Pete
Hi Pete,
I have just found a way to do what you want with the Target Show/Hide
Layer Action (old name Slave Show/Hide Layer Action).
Apply the Rollover Action to the first image in the row, in the
Parameters section of the Actions Palette (with the Rollover
selected) set the MouseOver# to 1. Do the same to the other images
but change theirs to MouseOver# 2 and 3 respectively.
Apply the Target Show/Hide Layer Action to each of the HTML layer
items that you want to be triggered and set each of their settings as:
Initially: Hidden
Restore: Sticky
Effect: Fade
Duration: 0.5
Target Group: Indigo
and Target# 1 for the first 2 for the second and 3 for the third.
Preview in the browser and you should get something like this:

hi pete, hi joe,
thanks for your help - it works! i’ve tried it first with the show/hide layer action but it didn’t work (think i used the wrong parameters).
