I use pseudos all the time without issue but for some reason I’m unable to get the nth-letter to work with the transform property.
If you use Coda you can view/edit the file in real-time using the link below.

Is nth-letter even implemented? I’ve used first-letter, first-line and some
others, but not that one.
Also, I never figured out the Coda link either. Maybe my Coda’s broken.

Open a file in Coda.
Enable the ‘Share’ link at the bottom of the window.
Enable the ‘Bonjour’ button.
Go to Menu > File > Copy Sharing URL
Send the link to someone.
Collaborate!

Then, what does the person who is sent the link do? I couldn’t get Coda to
do anything with the link you sent before.
Also, menu File > Copy Sharing URL is greyed out for me.

What should happen (at least in my experience) is that clicking the link (with Coda open) will open the shared file on your computer.
Your Coda file should be open and in edit (not preview) mode, and assuming Share and Bonjour are both enabled for that particular file the Copy URL should now be accessible.
