When doing a “Publish Site” everything on my site appears to work well until a file is downloaded from the site. On a Windows machine the file is downloaded as it should be BUT on a Mac the download action opens the whole of my folder and shows all my resources to anyone who opens it. How can I stop this happening?
That’s really weird.
The behaviour of showing all your resources would be what would come from
having a link to a directory (folder) or opening the URL: http://www.mysite.com./resources/
If no index page (index.html) exists inside that directory then the browser
shows the contents of the directory - unless that is prohibited via the
hosting Control Panel or other means.
Maybe you can post an URL so we can see what is happening?
It isn’t exactly obvious what steps you are describing.
(To me anyway!)
all the best
