I have a largish site that was created in Freeway 3.5xx?? . . . I have upgraded to Freeway 5 but for some reason whenever I do a preview to check a page or publish the whole site is being published.
Very frustrating when all I want to do is check a small change before uploading . . . takes ages.
Any ideas how to stop it doing this and just publishing the amended pages?
A few different things can be causing a complete republish. The most
noticeable being that if you are using default settings for
stylesheets (internal as opposed to external stylesheets) then when
you change a permanent style every page will need to update this style
so they will need to be republished. If you set stylesheets to
External in the File>Document Setup dialog then this will not happen,
instead just the pages that change after the edit to the style will
need to be republished.
Also, if you update a page filename then each page that has a link to
it will need updating.
Let me know if this is not the case, if so then what is it you are
doing before the complete republish takes place. There may be another
explanation.

Thanks for the help . . . it worked in a roundabout way . . . I
changed the stylesheets to external and published but and all the
styles defaulted to times so I changed back to internal and published
again to get back to the original.
The publish in the different formats must have done something because
now the document does what I expect and only publishes the pages I
change and not the whole site which is what it was doing.
Problem solved!! . . . thanks again.
