publishing pages

I know this has been raised on many occasions, but I can’t seem to get to the bottom of it.

I open my document and click upload - the whole site including PDF downloads etc. gets upload. I click save and close.
I open my document again - do nothing, no changes at all. Click upload and the whole site uploads again.

Each time it takes around 5 mins to upload. This can be really time consuming when I testing things online.

What would be causing it. I understand changing the stylesheets would, but I’m not changing them… it happens even when I make no edits at all.

Hi Nathan,

Two things come to mind:-

  1. If you have dragged any images from your Site Folder into Freeway then they will be rewritten every time you publish making Freeway think that they need uploading again. Create a new Site Folder in the Document Setup dialog to fix this problem.

  2. The resources may have gotten confused, go to the Edit>Resources dialog and click the Resample All button to fix this.

Once you’ve done these two things try the same thing again to see if that fixes the problem.

Hi Joe,

Tried the resampl all, but that didn’t work. Also had a look at the full path for all images and there’s nothing from the Site Folder.
