Is there anything specific I should do?

Thanks,

Got Steve Jobs’s home phone number?

The iPhone has never been able to play plugin media within Safari
Mobile. It is designed not to do this, some say as a security
measure, others say it is to do with processor load and battery life.
Whatever the real reason, the fact is that we just cannot play
QuickTime content (or Flash for that matter) in web pages on the
iPhone.

Sorry. :frowning:

That doesn’t mean to say you can’t get them working on there. Take a
look at the QT Reference Action in Freeway 5.2.1+. You apply it to a
regular QuickTime item and can create a reference movie (three movies
in one essentially) that will work as expected on the iPhone.

One thing to note is that the iPhone simulator can’t play movies
locally, you need to upload the site first if you want to test them on
it.

Hope this helps.
