RE: Can't get rollovers to show up on top of graphics

I have built some rollovers but every time I try to place them on the graphic “background” they go underneath the background.

It sounds like the background is layered and the rollovers aren’t. But don’t just make the rollovers layered - that introduces other issues and won’t deal with the core problem.

If you want a real background then set this as a true page background. With nothing selected, use the Inspector palette - third icon along - to set an image as the page background. That will go behind everything, bar none, and it won’t combine with anything.

I have to learn more about layering.

Your directions work, as usual. I still have the problem with rollovers on top of other graphics that are not background. Still fiddling aroiund - sometimes it works, sometimes not.

the tutorials do not cover this issue at all, so it is a bit perplexing.

Here I go again … more issues.

I don’t recall chabging anything, but now a graphic text box that I had placed over another graphic background is all filled in blue, even though I did not do anything to it and the background color box for the text box is marked "none.

Also, my page is now showing up top left even though it was in the center before.

Yikes…every time I work on Freeway Pro I mess up.

Any help?
