Thanks for the words of encouragement. Joe was kind enough to send a few files to let me see what I’m getting into…I’m about to delve into them.
I am hoping I can set up a member management area on an existing FW site that will allow members to search and view member lists, etc. I saw a template in ee that might work but I probably won’t know until I really dive in. I just want to make sure I understand what I’m getting into before investing time & money with a reasonable hope for success.

I’m a non-coder myself, and I discovered that the Action Suite of Joe Muscara works in a self explanatory way. Managing Expression Engine is simulair. Once one gets the idea it’s easy to set up a simple weblog. But if you try to create something more ‘advanced’, then the interesting part starts. Prepare to look for tips in the KnowledgeBase of EE, search their Forum, and above all, ask the more skilled people here on this list… For me, their advise was of great help.
