read more pt 2

Good evening,

I am updating a website and I am using the read more “action” I have the paragraphs etc… aligned up to the right.

but the read more words are to the left. How can I correct this?

also Is there a way of adding a color to “read more” ?

Thank you

Julie

When you say read more Action, do you mean the little script I wrote in Protaculous?

Well if you’re following the same script, just add a style as follows:

  1. Styles palette, cog, New Style…
  2. In the Tag field, enter ‘.tog’ (without the quotes, but with the leading dot)
  3. Tab into the Name field, delete whatever is there, and tab back out
  4. Use the Paragraph (+) to add Align, and set to right.

Now every one of these controls will have text aligned right. If you need to restrict this to only tog controls in a particular box, then make note of the ID (Title in the Inspector) and add that to the beginning of your Tag for the style you’re creating. If you only want to affect the .tog elements in the box item42, you would make the tag read ‘#item42 .tog’.

Hello,

How can I apply this script/action?

Thanks, Lode

There’s a lengthy thread about it on FreewayTalk.net: http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/86025

You need the Protaculous Action (from ActionsForge) to do this, and you have to structure your page in a certain way. Other than that, it’s all quite automatic.

Thanks Walter,

I give it a try later. Need to investigate it first.
