Yes - quite easily. Dont use such a wide image snowdrophome.jpeg! 1859px wide.
If you want to use that image as a background then you want to apply it using the inspector when nothing is selected on the page. Look under the paintbrush tab and choose your snowdrop image there. If applied as a ‘true’ bg image it will not create scrollbars.

Would this make the image the whole background rather than just this strip in the middle.
We want to bleed off the sides similar to http://www.brandglue.co.uk/ with no scroll bar.

You choose. I have used the whole thing here

but if you just use the snowdrops with a white section above that will sit behind your header etc that will work too.
