Repeating a graphic

I use a red line graphic to separate sections of a page but every time I add the graphic FW Pro adds it as a separate file. Is there a way I can use one graphic repeatedly without FW Pro adding an additional file.

You’ll have to export it (select it and choose File > Export,
remember to add the filetype suffix tothe name) and then import it
into a graphic box as a passthrough graphic.

Just recently I designed a simple site where I drew a square graphic off-page, to use as a text bullet. I then cut and pasted the graphic, anchored as a character in the text where appropriate, subsequently making 10 bullet points with the same graphic. Although the item list in my Freeway Site Panel showed 10 bullets, ‘sqbullet1’ to “sqbullet10” being used, when the site was published the resources folder held only ONE instance of the graphic, ‘sqbullet1’. So, if each of your pages has different content and you’re using either a single HTML box or a table, I guess that the best option for you is to anchor the rule at the end of each section. If the layout for each sectioned page is the same, however, then it would most likely be best to create a master page for them and set up the HTML and graphic items there.

Check out the source code for the bullets here:
