Responsive CSS Menu Problem

Hello, I think something happened in the latest update that has messed with my CSS menu in Freeway Pro 7. ON my front page, in my menu it is supposed to drop down to show other choices but as you can see it does not. It did before the update and it does on every other page. I am guessing this is a conflict with my slideshow? I hope not. That would kind of screw up everything. I was about where I am now with the site building on Freeway 6 when 7 came out and I have been trying to make it all responsive since. It has not been very easy for me. Thanks in advance for help!

There appear to be no actual links on the menu items on that page.

I would replace the menu with one from your Master.

This is why I think it has caused a conflict or something because there actually should be. The master and every other single page so far have the same CSS menu exactly. I feel like I have tried everything. It’s a real bummer because I am not sure how else to make such a nice responsive slideshow if I have to change it. I really hope there is someone out there who knows maybe how to fix this. You can see a different page and the CSS menu here:

I think I misunderstood about the links. I have not linked the titles yet but as you can see in the second page I linked, it works fine. Maybe the update cause a conflict with the target show/hide action?

I believe I have figured out that the Sequence Timer does indeed break it now. Any ideas?

Can you reproduce this in a new document?

Reproduce what exactly thatkeith?

Here I recreated a page with the sequence timer and target hide/show:

…and here I recreated just another normal page:

This problem has been solved. The problem was my problem. I had taken some not so great advice and placed some custom styles in the wrong place. Thanks everyone!

I’m using the free trial of Freeway 7. I’ve watched the tutorial on responsive sites about a dozen times now, but I must be missing something. I set a page to all the maximum widths they recommend, but not sure what to do next. It just creates a line down my screen and I have no access to the CSS menu they refer to in the video. What am I missing here?

You need to change the width of the page at each breakpoint and then reposition your items to fit the space available.

The responsive options for the CSS Menus are at the bottom of the CSS Menus Action settings, there’s no new Action.

Hope this helps,
Joe
