Responsive Tables

Hi
As tables don’t seem to be responsive does anyone know how to achieve some like this (see link).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
regards
Kevin

That is just a table set to a flexible width scheme. They do that normally, without you doing anything, except in Freeway where the individual columns are fixed in pixel dimensions by default.

I am sorry, but I don’t see anything in my bag of tricks here short of using SourceCodeSnooper to rewrite the HTML that is going to help this.

Here you go Kevin

this contains a template which you can install into the template folder and it contains various pages which show scaling font, responsive tables, responsive forms, orphan control, hyphenation control, Maintenance and error pages, etc etc
installation goes here:
~Librabary/Application Support/Freeway Pro/Templates/
and also all the actions one of which is a table compendium
and you install the actions here
~Librabry/Application Support/Freeway Pro/Actions/

JUST A QUICK NOTE:
All these action presume people know what they are doing in terms of styling and construction plus how to create proper style sheets etc… if people don’t know what they are doing then these are not the actions for them.

Hi Max

Just to be sure:

I should put the ‘Responsive’ Folder in
~Librabary/Application Support/Freeway Pro/Templates/

And the other folders go in
~Librabry/Application Support/Freeway Pro/Actions/

Is that right?

Kev

yep then if you then create a new document you should be able to choose a new template thats got everything already working

its just so you can see what it does before adapting it or using any settings

eg publish and have a look at the typography pages

the styles for responsive tables have already been created and they can be viewed in one of the external css style sheets… I think its in common
