I am using the responsive video action to embed a Vimeo video to a Freeway page. It is working fine but I have a quick question:
When you manually embed a video from Vimeo, the ‘Intro’ section in the ‘options’ tab allows you to remove the ‘Portrait’ ‘Title’ and ‘Byline’ overlays from the video. Is there a way to replicate this with the action or can I manually embed whilst retaining the responsive properties?
Hi Mark,
Currently the Action doesn’t support any extended features other than autoplay. I’ll add it to the list and take a look at adding these options in a future version of the Action.
Regards,
Tim.

Thanks Tim, I had a play with this this morning and I found that inserting the Vimeo code (40590207?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0) after the ID, the overlays are gone!
I’ve run into a different sort of problem. I installed one of the earlier versions of the action to Freeway 7.1.1 on a machine running OS 10.6.8 and it worked beautifully. I checked it on an older Android Tablet and the action didn’t work there. I did some digging and learned that Android hasn’t been “responsive friendly” but hoped to solve the issue with a newer version of the action.
That started something and I don’t know what. The action isn’t working at all now, even on the original computer where it played beautifully. Pulling it out of the Library and installing a newly loaded copy (of any version) hasn’t worked.
Any ideas you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Brian,
When you say that the Action isn’t working what is it doing exactly? Is the Action installed in Freeway and does the application see the Action in the Edit > Actions dialog?
Regards,
Tim.
