rollover action on top of another graphic

Hi, Just messing around with this idea. I have a graphic box with text on top of another image. I would like to have a rollover action applied to the text graphic. (I’m not sure if this adding to my woes, but the text graphics are party transparent.) The closest I can get is to have the rollover action occur when the background image is mouse over. Here is the url of the page in question. (Don’t fret…I let him go)

Have you set graphics to combine - this may be causing your problem.

And BTW - if you set Output to More Readable it will make it easier fore codelookers to see what is going on under the Bonnet (Hood for you folks East of the Atlantic)

This may be what you are looking for. http://louslittle.com/BuzziCondo/index.html
I did this by creating the words inside the oval, and duplicating it.
The transparent oval version is combined with the background picture.
All of what you see when you first go to this page is just one
picture. The duplicated version of the word and oval had its
background set to white, do not combine, and was assigned to appear
when rollover, with nothing displayed when not rollover. Thus you get
the illusion of the background of the oval changing color. ( nice
Brook Trout, reminds me of some fishing in Maine, USA when I was
younger)

Hi guys,
Thanks for writing back. I do have all three of the graphics set to combine. Also Dave, this is probably in the realm of newbie questions…but you mentioned this…" if you set Output to More Readable…" is this option in the page inspector palette, in the Code option box where it lists the choices of “More Readable” or “More Efficient”? Right now that option is set to “More Readable.”
I am using 5 pro.
Thanks,
Rich

I meant that if you have them set to combine that may be the problem.

Try them not combining.

File>Document Setup>Output>HTML code: More Readable

Yes it seems to be set that way on your test page now.
