Rollover - only 1 visible in actionspalette

Good day everyone,

Followed the FRW guide and made rollovers ok!

Now in another example, the actionspalette only shows one item,

instead of three.

Can’t see why it should do so.

Please con you advise me :slight_smile:

Well (here is a FRW 5 Pro newcomer experimenting
which is why i’m advising myself & so freeing people to attend more
daunting activities :slight_smile: -

  • this problem is solved on my side (hopefully) after a lot of
    reading on the formidable FRW-talk forum:
    where i found that nugget piece of gold in Keith’s bag of good advice:
    “The drawback with using layered graphic items …”

SOLUTION to make items become a rollover:

  1. Graphics have to be combined (normal when all 3 items are selected)
  2. Layer NO = unchecked for all items.

That’s it!

Exactly! Thanks Omar, you’re right on the ball. :slight_smile:

I will add that grouping the items should also solve the problem,
while preserving a layer-based layout; the layer contains the items,
but those can happily be unlayered within.

I think I was saved by that little nugget, also.

It is in the manual, too. on p246.
