Rollower trouble? (newbe)

I follow the tutorial, makes a graphic, duplicates it twice, aligns on top of each other, «combine with children» is checked. I apply a rollover action to the topmost graphic and trouble starts:
In the actions window for the rollower I expect to get three lines, one for each graphic with their own checkmarks, but I do only get one line (for the topmost graphic). I have deleted and reinstalled Freeway, rebuilt preferences and deleted the freeway plist. Same problem. Suggestions?

Group the items before you apply the Roller action.

After creating and aligning the three graphic items they should be grouped. After grouping the three graphic items will be subordinate to the group item. Then apply the rollover action to the group. Then open the actions window for the group. You should then seen entry rows for each of the three subordinate graphics.

The reason is simple, and it is nothing to do with any problem with
the software or your Mac. Your graphics are layered, so each one
cannot ‘see’ the one underneath.

You have two ways to get this working as you expected: either unlayer
all the items, or group them together into one ‘parent container’.
Both methods leave you with graphic objects that are not separated
across different layers, so they can be used together in your
rollovers.

Thanks to all, you are the reason I bought Freeway, with an active group like this, Freeway have to be good.
In this case I blame the tutorial, newbees should be told this. I spent a few hours on this problem on sunday, trying not to disturb the Freeway group.
Thanks, and I´ll be back soon …
