Is it possible to rotate, say a square, without it doing the rotating at the center of the square. For example a 2x4 laying on the floor and I want to pick it up form one end. It doesn’t spin in the air at the center of the 2x4. Is it possible to rotate an object without it spinning at it’s center?
This is so easy to do in Claris Draw and can not believe it can’t be done in this program but I haven’t found out how to do it. HELP

(1) Get the coordinates of the center of rotation that you want by
going Window > Geometry and then hover the cursor over the center of
rotation you want and get its coordinates on the upper left hand corner.
(2) Go Object > Rotate … > Rotate about and use these coordinates.
Frank and Schremmer you are right. We shouldn’t have to go through all of what you guys came up with just to rotate something. This feature alone has caused me to not get rid of System 9/Claris Draw on another computer as using Intaglio can be very trying when it comes to rotating objects.
I have one more question for you guys but I’ll start another thread for that one.
