Freeway Express is crashing when I try to preview with the Browser or Publish; same error “will overwrite HTML . . .” I don’t see anything in the site folder that i put there myself. How do I move everything to a new Site folder without losing all my work, so I can try again?
Pretty much every Freeway page I’ve ever owned throws up a message along the lines of: “One or more HTML files do not belong to this site and will be overwritten”.
I just assumed it was the way an action was rendering itself (if that’s possible).
In the Document Setup dialog, choose a new Site Folder. Or, locate the site folder and select all and delete (in Finder) to empty it. The issue is that Freeway has gotten confused about the contents of that folder (or someone has been modifying the files inside it – a big no-no) and it has decided that it would be replacing an existing file if it published. Choosing a new Site Folder will sort this out nicely.
