Saving PDF files that have multiple pages

Hello,
I have an intaglio document that is 2 pages wide. The “Drawing size” is set to 2 horizontal page by 1 vertical page. When I save this document as a PDF (using “Save as…”), it gets saved as a single page. When I save it using “Print…” and then select “PDF” output, it works correctly, it saves it as two pages. For complicated reasons, I need to save the document using the “Save as…” method. Does anyone know how to get this method to save multi page PDF documents correctly??

Thanks!
Peter

Not from Intaglio - but you can merge PDFs with preview.app.

I must say that I haven’t always found Preview that helpful either for multi page pdf documents.

I tend to use Pages instead. IMHO, it’s more reliable than Preview. And, you can directly copy & paste from
Intaglio into Pages.

Sorry - then you have just gotten to 5% of what it really can do.

When then I wish someone would explain what Preview can actually do!

Perhaps this is a Lion thing? I am still on Snow Leopard here.

Since 10.6.6x preview.app handles JPEG, TIFF/PNG with Alpha, BMP, PDF and a huge amount of camera RAW data, PSD files and can display 3d Collada objects with lighting. You can zoom&rotate&move like in a virtual scene.
You can simply merge PDFs, delete certain pages from it, make annotations/comments, make marks with text tool, round and rectangular frames with any color and font you like. Simply watermarking. Or protect the PDF from any editing.
You can resize any image non/proportional, change dpi. Selecting transparency is awesome. Rectangular/circular and lasso selecting with cropping ability (cmd+K).
Embed color profiles. Color correction: Exposure, contrast, saturation, temperature, hue, sepia, sharpen.
Import images via scanner, iPod, iPhones and cameras. Making 3 different types of screenshots from inside preview.app.
Copy&paste selections from Intaglio into a new preview window to get a PDF.
Since 10.7 automatic saves, resume, version control, full screen mode. Intelligent scaling , seek&find inside Office documents and PDFs. Reading iWork docs without having apps installed. etc. pp.

Don´t think I got it all - just to give you an idea.

Cheers

Frank
