There have been a rash of screenshots and other attachments sent to the mailing lists lately, so I thought I would make a formal request in my capacity of List Mom:
Please stop doing that.
They won’t go through, and I (or another of the volunteer admins) will have to log in to a web panel and delete them.
If you need to illustrate your messages to the list, simply upload your image file somewhere public (a Web server would be a good choice) and include a complete link to that image in your message. If you want to get fancy, you can make a Markdown link to the image, and it will appear inline for Web visitors. Just type your link in the following format:

Put it all alone on a line like that, and you’ll have a nice inline image.
There is a very good reason for this policy, just so you know. About half of the members of this list are subscribed entirely by mail. And many more get a combination of Web and mail. Each attachment you add to your messages would have to be duplicated thousands of times to be sent to each list member, which is an enormous bloat of disk space and bandwidth on Softpress’s rented server.
