Could anyone share their expertise on on making a css drop menu with various scriptaculous effects. I’ve seen some reference in previous threads, but the links to preview seem to be gone. I’ve tried using both the css menu action and the transition fx action, but apparently I’m not doing everything correctly.
I’d like to have the following:
• main menu buttons as graphic items (text created in Freeway)
• submenu buttons css html that slide down or blind down upon rollover of main button (and then slide up on rollout).
• I’d also like to have background of the drop down color set as a transparency (and maybe fade in when it drops down).
Are there any clearcut steps on which actions to apply, and
what settings to use?
Lastly, if I wasn’t using a graphic for the main button (everything was all css html), would anything need to be down different).
I’ve experimented, and experimented, but I just can get it right … and time is running out.
