Scriptaculous Slide Show drop shadow issues

I’m using this with Target Show/hide layer and the Sequence Timer, just fading between 2 photos on my home page. All works fine with a normal photo but as soon as I add a drop shadow I get a strange border around two sides of the second photo.

Any ideas what causes this?

Drop shadows require transparency to work when stacked like this, you’ll need to make the graphics PNGs with millions of colors in the Inspector palette or put together your own images using Photoshop or similar.

Thanks, Joe! I just changed the second (top) photo to a .png with millions of colors in the Inspector and now it works brilliantly. Very easy solution.
Cheers!
