Sequence Timer 60 does not work

Hello,

I’ve been having success with using the Sequence Timer Action together with the Target Show/Hide Layer.

Unfortunately when I’m trying to use the ST60 and TS/HL60 nothing happens. No action at all.
I’ve been to Action Forge and believe I have the latest versions: Sequence Timer 60 [1.0] and Target Show/Hide Layer 60 [1.2]. Actually, no other versions are available.
Any ideas?

Why do you need the 60 versions?

The standard versions give you 20 X 10 options (20 targets with 10 different groups)

No, why indeed? That would be great if that is the case. But how do I configure that? Say I go from Aqua to Cadmium, does it automatically continue after the 20th to the first in Cadmium?

OK - good point. I hadn’t considered that you would have more than 20 images in one Sequence Timer Slide show.

What about ScriptyFader as an alternative?

I take it then that you can’t use the normal Sequence Timer if you have more than 20 images?

But isn’t this where the 60 version should come in, and why doesn’t it work? A bug?

I had a quick look at ScriptyFader, which might work for my purpose, but first I’ll need to find out why the 60 version doesn’t work. It seems so much more easy to get going, especially when I have everything more or less set up already. And I can use the stop onmouseover which you so kindly showed me…

Post a link to your site with the 60 version set up and we can have a look at the bones of it.

And I can use the stop onmouseover which you so kindly showed me…

Sorry Jon - didn’t realise you were Jon H - you have change your Moniker here!

Here it is, Dave:

A png. item at the bottom to get the shade and your mouseover item at the top to halt transition. Works fine with normal sequence timer, but as you can see, no action with the 60 version.

For what it is worth:
I removed the Rollover and Target Show/Hide Layer actions in the menu, and then it works. So there must be a conflict there.

When I look at that page even though I cannot see the images I can see that the JS is working.

What happens when you move the Hover div off to the side.

Hello Dave,

I solved the problem just now:

I changed the normal Target Show/Hide Layer action in the menu to the TS/H60 action and voilá, everything works.

Please don’t ask me how and why. Perhaps you can answer that one?

I uploaded it now, if you want to have a look: http://www.jonhalvorsen.com/test5.html

And your Hover Stop works beautifully. Thanks!

I changed the normal Target Show/Hide Layer action in the menu to the TS/H60 action and voilá, everything works.

So you were using mis-matched actions ie Sequence Timer 60 with normal TSH.

It may be that there is a code mis-match that screws this up.

Haven’t really looked at the 60 versions - never felt the need.

Glad you are sorted.
