Sequence Timer Transfers

Need some help with a slide show.
I am working in freeway 4 pro and I would like for the images in sequence to change with a cross fade transition. Right now the pictures change very abruptly and fading would look so much better. I don’t know if I have overlooked something or if there is an action upgrade I need or if this just can’t be done in 4 pro.

In addition, if I can’t accomplish the above is there a way to have graphics overlap a quick time movie I’ve created. The slide show in quick time looks the way I like but wants to stay as the top layer obscuring graphics I need on top of it.

To answer your questions in reverse order, it’s not possible to layer anything over the top of QuickTime (or other plug-in content) except more of the same. So you can float Flash over Flash, QuickTime over QuickTime, etc.

For your fading transitions, have a look at Weaver’s Slideshow Actions: http://www.coastalrugs.com/Actions

I believe these Actions can make transitions, and they have been around since before Freeway 5, so they should work well for you.
