Hi,
I have a problem with showing and hiding layers. I want to start with a visible layer and hide it with the rollover action and on the same time showing another layer.
How do I do this?
Thanks,
David

You dont need to hide 1 layer when showing the other.
Instead show the top layer with a black background so that you cannot see the first layer underneath.

Sorry - I didn’t realise you had an image that you wanted to show behind like this http://www.deltadesign.co/showhide.html
1 layer is initially Visible and Restore Toggle the other is initially Hidden with Restore Toggle

is it possible to make a button that hides layer 1 and shows layer 2 and if I click on another button layer 1 appears back and layer 2 hides again.

Visit the example again http://www.deltadesign.co/showhide.html
The second button is a duplicate of the first.

Hi,
Thanks but button on should only show and hide layer 1 and no toggle. and button 2 the same.
So when I click on butten 2 the first layer has to disappear and when I click on button 1 the first layer has to appear? And the same for the other buttons.

I dont think it can be done with 3 buttons and 3 states with the vanilla Show/Hide
Different buttons cannot change 2 different Target# at once.
They can toggle layers on/off
