SSS comes in 3 parts
An Item action Simple Site Search results - Insert>Action>Simple Site Search - then position it on the page where you want the results to appear.
An action to be applied to a text field. Create a text field then select it, Item >Actions>Simple Site Search
A Folder action to be applied to your Site Folder - select the site folder in the Site side panel (left of your screen) Page>Folder Actions>Simple Site Search
That should do it

Getting a javascript error
Try putting the search box and the results box on a new blank page (cut and paste) then upload and test again.

One other thing to try - and I am assuming that you have read the instructions on using this action in the Whats new in Freeway 5.6 PDF. Or the updated manual P145 http://download.softpress.com/downloads/UsingFreewayGuide2011.pdf
Have you put your site address in the Web Address field?
To enter the URL go to File>Document Setup, click on the Upload tab, enter the URL in the Web Address field and click OK. In your case that would be:
http://www.gymking.co.uk
Without the angle brackets either end if you are viewing on the web.

Is your search box on the same page as your results? If not can you try that.
Do you see the preview of the Results?

In freeway I can see what the results box will look like, when uploaded this is not on the page, you can type in a search then the whole page goes blank when you click submit…

i originally put the results box on that page, then deleted it when you asked me to put the search box and results on the same page, for some reason the ‘submit’ button is still directing you to the /searches page, I have now re-created the page /searches and put the results page there, I am reloading the site now,
sorry for the confusion and thank you for your ongoing help !!

But try it with the search box AND the results on the same page! Nowhere else.

ok, I have deleted the pages above,
I have now created the following page
www.gymking.co.uk/test1
the search box and results should display on the same page, the /test1 extension is still displayed when the results should come up, but no results !!

But www.gymking.co.uk/test1 is a folder name - usually the first page in the folder is index.html and then the results page is at test.html
Where is your site hosted? Does it have some non-standard configuration?
