Simple Site Search Functionality

I spent some time over the weekend working on a test site for an organization using the Simple Site Search. Pretty amazing what we are going to be able to do with this action and oh so simple.

QUESTIONS

  1. Is there a hack to change the sort order from ascending to descending. I want items that are date driven to display the most recent date first and the older dates last. If this has to be in the javascript I am willing to live with it until Freeway includes this type of feature in the action.

  2. Is there a hack such as a meta tag that would exclude a page from being indexed. I see how to remove the page from the javascript but would prefer to not have to replace the javascript each time new content is uploaded to the site.

I’d also love a way to easily join together results when a site has to be split between two or more Freeway files. I can do it manually but it’s a bit of a pain.
