Simple Site Search - no results

In using the Simple Site Search action is there any way to have the search results page auto/timed return to the originating page, if the search results is nothing found? Or if one clicks the Search buttom without inputing anything in the search for text field, it returns a blank search results page. It just doesn’t look. work or feel elegant, ie. the way it should work, IMHO.

You could have the search facility on the same page as the search box itself. That way you are not leaving the search page to go to a results page.

On the other pages you just have a link to your search page.
