Simple template idea... with some questions..dubts

I started to realize a very simple idea for a template
I have some doubts, 1, 2, 3 ,4 also written inside the template
just look here \ download here

1 how to properly make a slide show
2 put a transparent background
3 understand if there is a practical way to use images from google photo
4 know if in wxibeo’s photoswipe layout you can put distances between thumbnails

greetings to everyone

You can easily make proper slide shows with Exhibeo - lots of options for different styles.
I use it on the ‘Coming soon’ section…

Hi Airly,

  1. It’s possible to make a simple slideshow without using Exhibeo. See the SecondSight template for an example. There are some instructions for adapting and extending this in the Xway User Guide (Appendix 2 Templates).
  2. You can set the opacity of a background colour.
  3. Google photos - I don’t know if this is what you are asking, but Xway supports external images which are accessed via a URL. Choose Insert Resource from the toolbar or Insert menu and click on External, then enter a URL.
  4. Are you asking if it’s possible to vary the amount of space between images in Exhibeo’s Photoswipe theme?

thanks :slight_smile: !! 1 2 3 ok (i must study)

4 )Are you asking if it’s possible to vary the amount of space between images in Exhibeo’s Photoswipe theme?

yes not essential, but it is a curiosity that would be nice;
or something like this, would also be interesting;portfolio
But at the moment I am starting to study the flaxbox toutorial. It is better to concentrate on taking good advantage of the possibilities offered, and only then look for more. Also I am about to travel for several months, so these are curiosities that will come back in 2025

Adjusting the space between images in Photoswipe galleries: you can do this by adding the following in the CSS Markup section of the Page Inspector (on the page that contains the gallery):

#gallery li figure
{
   margin-top: 10px !important;
   margin-left: 10px !important;
}

This assumes that the gallery ID (Name/ID in the Box section of the Box Inspector) is gallery, so change “gallery” to whatever ID you’re using. “10px” can be any value. Xway is replacing styles that are set in the component’s CSS file.
