Have started this new thread Steve, as for some reason each time I reply to the other on, the moderator rejects my post?

Anyway. You should only apply the action to the homepage. I was mistaken about adding it to the sub folders.

One of the easiest reasons for a reply being bounced is if you reply
from the wrong mail address. If you have multiple e-mail addresses in
Mail, it is possible to set Mail to reply from the last address that
received a message, or from a particular address.

There’s also always a picker at the top of the mail message as you are
composing it, allowing you to change your From address there.

FreewayTalk is a mailing list, and everything you see here filters
through a piece of mailing list software called Mailman. We have the
reject bar set pretty high, which is why you won’t see bots on this
list, and only very rarely see a troll-like message. Only accepting
messages from the subscribed members is one of the lowest bars of this
set of criteria.

You also cannot send screen-grabs or other attachments, or messages
larger than 40KB in size. (A term paper’s worth of text, or one tiny
photo.) Sending mail that doesn’t have a text “part” to it will also
get you bounced, as in certain (thankfully rare) HTML mail
applications that don’t follow the rules.

I sometimes do make that mistake… this time I used the correct address - the bounce back was because of:

The reason it is being held:

Message body is too big: 48922 bytes with a limit of 40 KB

Although other were replying on the same thread.

Had you attached a photo, or used anything besides plain text in your
message?

Wow. Well something came along for the ride. Your message was listed
in Mailman as being over 40K (not by a lot, mind you) but that’s
pretty hard to reach when you’re typing plain text.
