This is the organization behind the site in your example. It has the input
of many people, both to create and manage the site.

So, perhaps you are ambitious. Or maybe this is just a direction – looking
at these sites, you would need to somehow provide lots of content, as the
design does not seem to be a factor except how to cram it all on a page
with a bunch of advertising. Since content is the focus, you want a
solution that lets you create and access butt-loads of it. I’d probably
fall back to something like Wordpress.

This is the kind of stuff I shy away from, because this is a site about
content and someone has to create and manage all that content… it will take
lots of people and lots of dedication and lots of time. Look at AOL, they
made a whole business out of it.

I do know that… The link was my hometown patch.
What I am potentially looking at is making a site like it for up here and getting community members involved in content and sell adds …

Since patch won’t come here but go to sc… :confused:
