I’ve been working on a website with Exhibeo - Thumblie theme and even though its very nice to have a responsive gallery so quickly, I find the movement of the thumbnails too rough when you shrink the page. Its there a way, maybe even using a little code to make it smoother like the example bellow?
I believe they’re using FancyBox - jQuery, but would that be possible in Exhibeo?

Without seeing yours it is impossible to compare.
However the first thing that I would look at is your image file size.

Hi David, here’s the link. Its actually a very small group of images. Its a working in progress. Try to shrink the windows and compare the smooth of the movements, when thumbnails have to move to adjust to the new windows size.

If you mean the movement of the Divs that contain the images when you resize the Browser window then stop and think about the real world scenario.
Joe Average does not resize his browser window - he opens your page on his iPhone or his iPad or his Desktop computer and doesn’t then change the Browser window size - he can’t unless it is his Desktop machine.
Or do you mean something else?

Hi David, you’re completely right.
Nobody can resize a browser on a smartphone or tablet, unless using a desktop machine and that’s the main purpose of a responsive galley.
I got carried away with the smooth effect, because I resize my browser on the desktop computer sometimes, to fit two different windows, but almost nobody does it.
