Is there a Moderator who can remove and ban this spammer?
They have been posting for more than a month, so seemingly the answer is no, or at a minimum no one cares enough to take of it. Which appears to be the case for many things around here.
I had a nice phone call with Richard Logan this morning (sole, I believe, owner of Softpress Systems, but definitely our benevolent dictator for life). He’s working approximately 80 hours a week at the moment, trying to put out fires and put Softpress into a place where it can thrive and grow. As soon as he is able to recover the passwords to the server where this mailing list (and its web interface) live, he has promised to share those with me and let me unleash the ban-hammer on our unwelcome guests.
He mentioned that he was “very aware” of the problem, and was as frustrated as all of you about it.
We are on it, don’t despair.

Yep - FreewayPro is dead as FWT is, cause nobody is taking care of zombie-software. Except spammers.
I suspected the scenario is what you just described. Thank you for your
help.

You’re welcome. I am (and have been since 2006) a volunteer in this effort. I worked for Softpress for three years, but I’ve been donating my time to the effort both before and after that time, for 20 years.

Yes, I saw that. I had locked the account, but forgot to unsubscribe them from the lists. That’s done now. I also notified the user, who had actually posted a number of real messages in the past, so they can disinfect the Windows 10 PC that was generating the spam. I can restore their account if they ever get in touch with me.

This “person” has been locked out of the system. I’m leaving these messages in place, but they won’t be adding any more.

PS: The SSL error should be gone for everyone, too.
