So Many Items File Won't Save

Please Don’t Laugh…

We got started down the road of using freeway to prototype a UI interface for a customer and we ended up building one page in freeway that we estimate has over 2000 HTML items. We got to the point where the file would no longer save when we added a few more.

After a couple box’s of pizza the team has split the page into 6 smaller pages and saving seems to be restored. Is there a limit as to how many HTML items a page can have in Freeway?

Hi All, I know just how silly this sounds having this many html items, but does anyone actually know if there is a limit and what it is.

Hi Guys,

We don’t think there is a limit. If there is then we doubt it would be this low but it depends on what you have inside your html items. There could be a problem with something else rather than the number of items.

Would it be possible for us to take a look at the file and see what’s going on?
