Special rollover action

I have seen a website that was one if those made with freeway websites. It
had a rollover action that highlights that word, and at the same time it
shows a picture to the right. And the rollover does not go away untill you
select a new rollover. I wish I could find the site that I am trying to
explain. If anyone knows what I’m talking about any help is appreciated.

That sounds a lot like the Text Rollover Action combined with the
Target Show/Hide Layer Action. TSSL is used to set up the boxes that
will appear (set to Initially Hidden), and then Rollover (inline, as a
stand-alone Action-item) creates the link text and applies the
JavaScript to make the popups appear.

Yes that sounds right. Do you know exactly how to do that.

Draw an HTML box and compose your popup within it. Give it a color and
maybe a border, so it will look like something when it’s visible.

Apply the Target Show/Hide Layer Action to it. Set it to Initially
Hidden, and Restore to Sticky. At the very bottom of the interface,
there’s a Target number picker. Choose a unique number for this layer.

Now double-click inside your text, and move the cursor to where you
want the trigger word to appear. If you’ve already added that word in
your copy, delete it. Then from the main menu choose Insert / Action
Item/Text Rollover. You will see a little yellow box inline within
your text. Click once on it, and look in the Actions palette. There
will be a field where you enter the word or words that will appear as
a link in your text, and additional controls to choose what element to
affect when you roll over that link. Set the MouseOver control to
match the number you chose in the Target Show/Hide Layer Action.

That should be it.
