SpriteRight CSS sprite creation tool

This looks like a nifty app to help Pro users create Sprites - and its price is reduced just now on the App store to £2.99/$4.99.

The caveat is that you need Lion - BooHoo!

This looks really good! Would this be easy to add even if I don’t code much?

I understand the basics CSS and HTML and know about sprite sheets saving download times cos its downloaded in one go… could you create then reference it in Freeway Pro??

There’s no easy, non-code way to go about this in Freeway. You would have to get the style rules that this application creates into your page (either External Stylesheets Action or Page / HTML Markup dialog) and then you would need to apply the selectors that the application wrote into those style rules to the individual elements you are trying to “sprite”. There would be zero visual feedback in the design environment, too. Perfect storm of hard to integrate, in my opinion.

Thanks walter - I see what you mean - I may as well go over to DW for that type of workflow. Food for thought for Softpress ?Would be really good if this could be done visually… I always wonder about the word ‘Pro’ in the Freeway line-up - this kinda integration would, in my humble opinion anyway, start deserving the Pro tag
