Hi Justin,
Most of this is achievable using the stock Freeway Shop Actions that ship with the application or my Mals E-commerce Suite (FreewayActions.com | Mals E-Commerce Suite) although Mals doesn’t have the concept of registered or guest buyers. As such if you want to post offers and coupons to these buyers you would need to manage that part of the customer engagement process outside of the Mals system.

Tim.

Client would like the store redesigned - Is this possible with Freeway and Mal e actions? Pretty much the same functionally?
Create Account - Log In - Shopping Cart all the generic shopping stuff
Also be able to track the shopper and post email offers if opted in?
Or is their an easier option (not be a coder at all)
Hi Justin,
No Mals does do coupons but doesn’t have registered buyers.
To make a purchase through a Mals cart you simply add the item to the cart and run through the checkout process. This differs from your example site in that the user is asked to either checkout using a guest account (so similar to the Mals process) or a registered account where the user can be contacted, sent offers etc.

Tim.
Hmm the more I look into it the more basic it seems… most shopping websites have a visible cart to show what you have in there… I don’t think Male does this either - Ill search here to see what others have used.
If you add a product to the cart and then click on the view cart link in the main nav bar you should see the item(s) listed in the shopping cart.

Tim.

Oh right - didnt see that… this maybe enough then. Ive been looking at other options and they all demand code to design the store to look like the website… which I cant do.
