straightening

One can move a photo horizontally and vertically within its box

using the cross arrows in the center of it. Is it possible to rotate
it? If I try using the rotate tool, it rotates both the photo and
the box. I want to rotate just the photo.

If this is not possible, it would seem this would be a handy

feature. One could easily straighten those photos taken when the
camera was not quite level.

TIA

There is no way to do it interactively, but you can change the
rotation of a photo within its frame using the Item / Modify dialog.

Click on the Item and go to the ‘Item’ menu - ‘Transform’ (Alt +Command
+T keys) and you can rotate the ‘Content’ of the Item - i.e. the image
that needs straightening.
