Strange flash player

Hi, new to this forum, so here we go. I have Freeway Pro 3.5.1. So I output a movie in Final Cut Pro (latest) and convert it to a FLV using ffmpegx. Fine. I create a web page and draw an FLV Player box on the page. Open Actions window and select the FLV (which I have placed in my Media folder). I select ‘Actionscript 3’ and for the player: ‘Under’. Fine. I preview my page and all is well EXCEPT for one tiny but irritating glitch: the little progress triangle on the timeline bar is missing. Just like the little triangle on the audio volume control to the right, the one in the timeline is absent - until the whole movie has finished playing and then it suddenly appears! Happens in latest Safari and Firefox browsers, both in Preview and once published on the web.

Web page here:

My question is - is the glitch in Freeway with the player, or is it something to do with my original encoding using the shareware ffmpegx encoder? I thought about buying Squeeze, but as I use Final Cut Studio (and hence Compressor a lot), for simply converting video to FLV’s it was overkill. Now I’m thinking that you get what you pay for…

Any and all advice gratefully received. Caveats: I’m a cameraman and an editor, using Freeway for about 5 years as an intermediate user. Needs must…

THANKS

Cotty

Is this a typo? Do you actually have 5.3.1? (Huge difference!)
