I created four rollovers, as per the tutorial in the manual, and placed them on the master page as navigation buttons.
Problem: the text in the FIRST button (topmost in the Site/Page panel when in Page view) gets wonky. Sometimes it disappears–sometimes on one page, sometimes on all. It can be recovered by selecting the element and bringing to front–despite that it apparently already is in front, by all accounts.
Even when the text doesn’t disappear completely, it blinked out and in when I switch pages–that is, it’s not there when the page is selected, but appears after a second or two. This seems to be the default–assuming it’s there, it’s there only after blinks in after a moment or two.
None of the other three rollovers do this, EXCEPT:
if I delete the misbehaving rollover, the rollover that then appears first (topmost in the Page list) does the same thing.
Already updated–the original question is nine days old.
It’s hard to post because the cosmetic issue appears in Page mode, not the published page. That’s more an annoyance that a real problem, except that I can’t tell if a real problem has come up with it.
So, I’m under the assumption things work fine in the published HTML version, but fails to work in-program in Page-view (preview) mode. So it’s a program error, not a published HTML error?
Seemingly so. There have been one or two times when the published version didn’t look right (half of the rollover text was cut off), but I don’t know if that’s related.
