stroke around text

I want to make a mindmap in Intaglio.
How can I put a stroke around the words I’ve typed?
Now I type my words, draw a rectangle and group this with my words.
I hope this can by easier. Now it is a lot of work.

Maybe a simple effect will help you out. But I´m not quite sure how the result should look like. Do you have an image to share

Cheers

Thank you for answering my question. But what I’m looking for is not a color around the letters but a coloured square box around the text. Now I have to make a workaround to get this effect, that really is time consuming.

Draw a box and double-click inside it. The text cursor appears in the centre of the box. Give the text and box the desired colours, select both objects and Option-drag to the Library. When you need a new heading, drag the Library item into the document and edit the text. The box can be made longer or shorter as required.

This effect can also be created in word processors (Growly Write, Mariner Write).
Select Print and click the Preview button, select Copy, switch to Intaglio and Paste. Then go to Object>Convert>PDF For Editing and Ungroup.

Actually you don´t need an extra object: Text background color seems to do what you need:
