styling an html mark up

I make a table in open office, export it as html and import the source code via chrome into an html mark up. how can I set the (text) style for the mark up? Somehow the inspector doesn’t work as expected in this case.

Thanks for help!

Curious, why aren’t you making your table directly in Freeway?

Basically, Freeway cannot apply style to something that wasn’t made in it.
Have you tried making your table in Freeway?

Yes I tried but at a certain (table) complexibility freeway crashed in the past.

So no other workaround? The html code offers a text sytyling, but it will be somehow overwritten by something. Any ideas?

Well, if you know how to import html code - and if you know how to import
the CSS style code for the table - then you are mostly golden.

As you say, there could be potential style conflicts, but very deliberate
style naming on your behalf should help avoid that.

If you don’t know where/how to import style code then it will depend on the
code exported by the app you used to generate the table in the first place.
If you can post all the code (table + style) somewhere online where we can
decipher it, then maybe we could help.
