Submenu Design Help

Hi all!

I’m a complete Freeway Pro Newbie, who is in need of assistance with an issue that has had me stumped for days!

I’m trying to do a drop down submenu like Costa Coffee, to display a picture and writing, in a box as wide as the window background.

ANY HELP would be appreciated, as I’ve tried everything that I can think of from my limited knowledge of the software!

I’m confident that I will be able to complete everything else for the website once I get over this one little hurdle!

Thanks in advance for assistance with my problem!!

Have a look at the BAM Action: http://actionsforge.com/actions/view/238-bam-big-area-menus

Thank you for such a prompt response!
I did see that action and have downloaded it, although it said something about needing Javascript if memory serves me correct (I’ve been trying so many things I may be confusing it with something else). Also I couldn’t work out how to use it effectively. :frowning:

If I use the BAM action, will people without Javascript still be able to use my site?

If not, is there another way!?

I haven’t used this at all, but I think it just uses CSS to do its thing. There’s no specific reason why JavaScript would be needed. JS is pretty ubiquitous these days (much better market penetration than Flash, for example) so you should be fine.

Are you possibly confusing this with the General section of the FW preferences pane that gives you the option to ‘Enable Applescript in Actions’

This is a must if you are using any Actions on your FW pages.
