Any suggestion on an easy to install and maintain survey package? Something that can be placed in a Freeway page to take quick polls / click to display results kind of thing.

Hi Robert,
I saw this the other day from the people over at Bebosoft - http://www.bebosoft.com/products/mediatasurvey/overview which allows you to set up your own survey and collect responses on your own server. I’ve no experience of the product but if you are after a self-hosted solution then it may be worth a look.
I’ve used hosted surveys in the past (a simple search online will find many of the biggest players) and many offer these free up to a certain number of responses.
The third possible solution is to use Google Docs to collect your data and feed this into an online spreadsheet.
