When I tried with Safari I got a “this site is for Chrome only”, or something like that. Hey, I just type what I see/read.

I’ve seen – or I should say I’ve NOT seen – sites before that require one
specific browser. I think it’s stupid, especially as with this one I AM
using Chrome and it still rejects my browser. Maybe only PC Chrome? That
thought, and the alert the page is originally in russian makes me wonder if
something nefarious - but still only limited to a fraction of a fraction of
users by browser choice - is going on.

I’ve only seen one other site do this but it was for some type of web-based design tool. Does Chrome offer special features that allow rendering cutting-edge CSS or similar? I don’t know. It is odd.

I started using Chrome for it’s special compatibility with Google products,
like Drive or Documents, or Gmail, etc. etc. Safari is still my favorite
for everything else.
